Ali grew up in Vermont and attended Wellesley College where she majored in chemistry. After college, she moved to New York and worked for a few years as a research assistant in a lab that studied substance use disorders before attending medical school at Mount Sinai. In medical school, she explored a lot of clinical interests and grew to love adolescent and LGBTQ+ health. Ali is excited about residency at Brown due to their commitment to advocacy, wellness, and focus on community. Outside of work, Ali loves running, reading, gardening, cooking and playing music!
