Alexandra Cathcart, MD
Undergraduate: University of Pittsburgh
Medical School: Temple University
Alex was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. She attended the University of Pittsburgh for college, where she majored in English literature and biology with a minor in chemistry and a certificate in children’s literature. She then returned close to home for medical school, studying at Temple University. Despite her undying love for chicken cheesesteaks and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, she is thrilled to be venturing out of Pennsylvania and into New England for residency. She couples matched with her partner, who is in internal medicine. Both of them were impressed with the strong academics, diverse patient experiences, and opportunities for resident autonomy that Brown has to offer. In her free time, Alex loves reading, cooking, trying new restaurants, and entertaining her cat.
