Cara was born is Massachusetts but grew up in Portland, Oregon. She attended Fordham University in The Bronx, NY for undergrad and majored in Chemistry with a special interest in synthesizing organic polymers. During undergrad, she was a member of Fordham’s long-form improv comedy troupe and enjoyed performing in NYC. Forever caught between which coast is the best coast, she returned to Oregon to work as a research assistant studying bleeding and clotting disorders. She attended Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine where she conducted research in transfusion medicine. Cara is thrilled to be returning to the East Coast and can’t wait to experience all Providence has to offer! Outside of medicine, she loves going to theater productions, comedy nights, and exploring the local arts scene. She also loves running, snowboarding, and snuggling her fluffy cat, Quinn.
