Ika was born in Poprad, Slovakia and moved to New Hampshire during grade school. She attended Wellesley College and graduated with a degree in Health & Society. After college, Ika worked as a Research Assistant at Boston Children’s Primary Care at Longwood. While there, she focused on several quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing barriers to care for children. She returned to woods of New Hampshire to attend the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Ika was drawn to the Hasbro family due to its commitment to education, pediatric advocacy, diversity, and community. In her free time, you can find Ika swimming, running, biking, hiking, or re-reading the Harry Potter series on her porch. She looks forward to exploring the Rhode Island coastline with her fiancé and dog, Rosie.
