Jenna McClane, MD (she/her)
Undergraduate: Georgetown University
Medical School: Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (AOA)
Jenna was born in South Jersey and moved multiple times before landing in Connecticut. She attended Georgetown University and received her undergraduate degree in neurobiology. Jenna then returned to Jersey for medical school, attracted by Cooper’s innovative mission to both serve and inspire the Camden community. She started coaching a local Girls on the Run team and the vibrancy of her elementary-student runners influenced her decision to pursue pediatrics. She also volunteered as part of a certified pet therapy team with her dog, Fenway, and the two cherished their visits to the pediatric units of Cooper Hospital. Jenna can be found running during her free time, and she has successfully completed three Philadelphia marathons. She first experienced Brown as a visiting student at the Children’s Neurodevelopment Center at Hasbro and was impressed by the multi-disciplinary approach to care, including the creative incorporation of community-based resources, of both patients with complex care needs and their families. She is thrilled at the opportunity to contribute to the Brown pediatrics team!
