Kevin Marzotto, MD (he/him)

Position: PGY-1

Undergraduate: College of the Holy Cross

Medical School: Tulane University School of Medicine

Kevin was born and raised in Great Barrington, MA. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester MA, with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. During his undergraduate education, he discovered a love for global health after participating in two medical mission trips to Honduras. To this day, he continues to work for the global health organization, Action4Education, as the Director of Primary Care and Pediatric Research. Kevin also developed a passion for research during college after working for two years in an organic chemistry lab. Kevin spent two years working as a clinical research coordinator in adult electrophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital before moving to New Orleans for medical school. Kevin feels incredibly grateful for his medical experience and training at Tulane, and for the patients and families he had the privilege to care for during his time in Louisiana. During medical school, he continued his work in clinical research by investigating pediatric patients with complex medical conditions. He volunteered in the community to learn about various social determinants of health and worked in Tulane’s culinary teaching kitchen, where he taught children how to cook and eat nutritious meals. Kevin is most excited to return home to New England and join Brown because during his interview session he felt the level of mentorship, community, and support at Brown’s Pediatric Residency program was unmatched! In his free time, Kevin likes to be outdoors kayaking, fishing, hiking, and skiing, in addition to cooking, playing music, and spending time with friends, family, and his cat, Phoebe.
