Khushbu Joshi, MD (she/her)
Undergraduate: Widener University
Medical School: Drexel University College of Medicine
Born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Khushbu went on to complete her undergraduate studies at Widener University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. During her time at Widener, she volunteered in the Pediatrics and Psychiatry departments, instrumental experiences that contributed to her passion for working with children. She then attended Drexel University College of Medicine where she served as the President of the Family Medicine Interest Group, participated in various health outreach project clinics and had culturally enriching experiences as part of culinary club, and South Asian Medical Student Alliance. She is excited to be at Brown for residency and is looking forward to exploring the New England area. As part of the Triple Board program, she believes that she will receive the training she needs to be able to recognize and provide early interventions for both the medical and psychosocial needs of patients so they can grow to their fullest potential. When she’s not in the hospital, she can be found either in the kitchen cooking up a storm or on Yelp reading reviews for the best drunken noodles in town. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, dancing, biking, hiking, and is looking to continue her most recent interest in kickboxing.
