Kristen grew up in Buffalo, NY before moving to Cleveland, OH for college. She studies biochemistry and anthropology at Case Western where she was also a 4 year varsity softball player. In college, she volunteered in a kindergarten classroom, helping kids read which sparked her interest in the pediatric population. During medical school at Georgetown University, she enjoyed volunteering with the Hoya Clinic Wellness Workshop team, a group from the student run clinic that taught weekly workout classes to residents of a local family shelter. She is excited to be a resident at Brown because of the enthusiasm and welcoming environment from fellow residents and faculty. In her free time, Kristen enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and playing board games.
