Nosa Omorogiuwa Peace

Peace Nosa-Omorogiuwa, MD (she/her)

Position: PGY-1
Peace was born and raised in Edo State, Nigeria. She moved with her family to Maplewood, New Jersey after completing high school in Nigeria. She graduated with a B.S in public health from Rutgers University New Brunswick. During her time at Rutgers,  she tutored in the New Brunswick elementary school and high school. And worked with organizations that supported and mentored children from low income families. She also interned at a non profit organization that focused on connecting New Brunswick community members to health resources.
 
Peace continued her interest in Public health and serving minority populations in medical school. She did research on WIC participation, served as diversity admissions coordinator and education community member for JEFFHOPE- a free clinic in select Philadelphia shelters. 
Peace is passionate about education, advocacy and health equity. 
 
In her free time, Peace enjoys cooking/baking, watching sports (Philadelphia sport teams), biking, visiting museums, learning how to sew and exploring new restaurants.
