Victoria Quinn, DO (she/her)
Undergraduate: Providence College
Medical School: University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (GHHS)
Torie was born and raised in Massachusetts and studied biology at Providence College. While she always knew she wanted to work with children, her decision to pursue medicine was solidified through several biopharmaceutical internships and studying health care practice and policy in Copenhagen, Denmark. She first worked at Hasbro as a clinical research assistant after college, where she discovered her passion for trauma informed care. Throughout medical school, she stayed involved in the Hasbro network, returning first as a research fellow and later as a visiting medical student. Her decision to choose Brown for residency was rooted in the warmth and collegiality among residents and faculty in addition to their shared commitment and compassion towards their patients. Outside of the hospital, you can usually find Torie at one of her favorite spots – the East Bay Bike Path. She also enjoys skiing, working out, The Bachelor and all desserts. A New England girl through and through, Torie feels extremely lucky to be able to continue this next journey in Providence with her husband (a Brown orthopedics resident!).
